Our planned filming locations were:
- My bedroom
- Arnos Grove Train Station
- Southgate Train Station
- Oakwood Train Station
- Arnos Grove Park
- The Steward Studio- In the Latymer School
We had a lot of locations and this turned out
problematic on the shoot but was necessary to achieve the fast paced montage
style story we wanted. Saying this however, the locations were somewhat near each
other and so we were able to get to each location without needing transport
plans.
My bed room was an ideal location for David's
hacking. As a room it is quite adult, with black and white being the main
colour theme. This was perfect for a young adult hacker's location.
Shooting on the train was extremely difficult
as we had to keep getting on, off and waiting for various trains so we could
shoot. Despite this, the trains connoted the London setting which we needed for
are UK TA. It also connoted David's age as he is using public transport.
Arnos Park's arches are an aesthetically
pleasing area which is easily accessible from my house. We were allowed to take many angles with these
arches and gave a very London setting.
The Latymer Seward studio is a very high tech
studio which was great in connoting a 'Organisations headquarters'. It enabled
us to create our own lighting with different blinds and light settings as well
as having equipment such as CCTV cameras, Computers and phones. Below is our 'headquarters'.
The props we needed were: white shirts, black
trousers for the organisation while David wore a black hoodie. We also needed
guns and phones to connote the genre. These were supplies by our actors and
media department.
