To create our rough cut
we watched through all our footage on Adobe premiere pro and labelled all the
best takes to make it easier when editing. We cut down all our shots and
positioned them on the timeline in a 'rough sketch' where we then accurately edited
the shots and created continuity according to our storyboard and animatic. We
then added a music track and titles as well as sound FX.
A rough cut was
important as it familiarised us with the software as well as letting us know
whether our ideas would work. It highlighted areas of improvement and things
that needed to be changed.
